1.Login or sign in to YouTube

The first thing you need to do is go to the YouTube website. At the far right of the YouTube website you will see a link called "sign in". You click on that sign in button.

Now go to YouTube and click on Sign in and you will see a web page where you will be asked to login with your Google or Gmail account Id and password. As I mentioned earlier, YouTube is a service from the google company and therefore you will need to use your own Gmail account to login to YouTube.

3.Create a YouTube channel

After logging in to YouTube with your Gmail account ID and password, you will be logged into the YouTube dashboard. Now you have to first click on the small "profile icon" at the top right of the YouTube dashboard to open the channel. You can see the picture below to know better.Now, after clicking on the YouTube profile icon, you will see some options. Click on the "My channel" option directly within these options.

Now, after clicking on the My Channel option, you will see a YouTube page showing the text “Use YouTube as” and two small boxes below it. You need to enter a name for your channel in those little boxes.

Congratulations, your channel has been created and you can now edit, design, or upload videos to your channel.

After clicking on create channel you will see two options on the next page. One is "Creator studio" and the other is "Customize channel".

You can customize your YouTube channel by going to the Customize channel option. That means, you can add and update things like profile pictures, background pictures, description, about your channel. You can create a variety of settings for your channel by going to the Creator Studio option. Like channel settings, video manager, how many subscribers to your channel, how many views have been made to the video.

You can understand what you can do with these options if you go into these two options yourself. You can click on the profile icon at the far right of the YouTube dashboard to switch to both the Customize channel and Creator studio. In this you will see creator studio options. If you would like to switch to the Customize Channel option, go to creator studio and click on "View channel.

4.How to upload videos to YouTube

After creating your own channel on YouTube, your task is to "upload videos to your own channel". Because, when you upload a video, people will come to your channel and watch your uploaded video. In fact, only then can you start earning money by showing ads on your videos.

5.Verify your YouTube channel

The first thing you need to do is go to the creator studio option and click on the "profile icon" in the upper right of your YouTube dashboard. After clicking on the profile icon you will see creator studio options.

Now after going to the creator studio page you will see many options on the left. You need to click on the "Channel" option on the left hand side.

Now, after clicking on the channel, you will see the name of your YouTube channel on that page and a link or text under "Verify" will be displayed below it. You simply click on the "verify" link.

Now after clicking on the verify link you will see the "Account Verification" page later.On the account verification page, you must first select your country and then click on the "text me the verification code" option. Then, in the mobile number box below, click on the "Submit" option with your mobile number.

Step 5

Now, after clicking on the submit option, the mobile number you enter will go to your mobile via a verification code sms. You will need to enter a YouTube mobile number verification box by looking up that verification code. You will see this box after clicking Submit at step 1 above. After verifying the verification code on your mobile with the number verification box in OK, your YouTube channel will be fully activated and verified.

Now you can use your channel by clicking on the "continue" option, upload videos to the channel and apply to earn money from channels and videos.
